Baby Loon First Swim

One lucky viewer of our 2009 LIVE loon cam was fortunate enough to record the first swim of our wonderful loons. It took a little coaxing from mom and dad, but this little fella finally made it into the water. A successful feat for the loon family. A great big thank you goes out to Lori for her great computer skills in recording this special moment!

"I would like to send you a video clip of my granddaughter doing the loon call. She's 8 years old and is in third grade. Yeah, I know I'm being a grandmother and I think it is the greatest - but, it's really funny how she does this. It sounds so real too. I think it's worth taking a look at."

This video clip is very special to myself (Travis Frank). It was filmed on one of my muskie guide trips by Mr. Jack Popowich. He has fished with me several times over the past five seasons, and just loved to capture everything he could on film and video. Many months after our fishing trip, I received a package in the mail with this video in it. I'm just excited to share it with all of you! Thanks for watching!
