Live Loon Egg Laying

A viewer of the popular loon cam recorded the actual laying of the first egg on the 2009 Live Loon Cam!  What a very rare and incredible look into the life of the loon.  Many of you were watching when this happened LIVE, but for those that missed it, here you go!  Incredible!

Very cool. What date was the first egg laid? What software was used to record the video from the live stream? Thanks.

I was lucky enough to see the laying of both eggs and took still screengrabs (see Loon albums, including Minnesota 2009) but I am not able to find a way to record video from the Flash stream. I too would like to know how this can be done. I am able to record video from Real Player, Quicktime etc. Any information would be most welcome.
