John Sikkila of Hibbing was out on the water last week and capture a sight many of us see, but don't often capture. While out on Oxhide lake, he took a cool shot of these painted turtles sunning themselves on the log. Cool! |

Jerry Schneider of Cloquet, MN was out and about recently and stumbled upon this fawn hiding in the weeds. Jerry got a quick shot and hurried and hurried away to not disturb nature. Shortly after, the mom came back and the two headed back into the woods. Well done Jerry! |

Vic Luiken shot this picture of an Osprey at Eagle Lake, near Park Rapids. I'll let Vic describe this, "the osprey had just come out of the water in a futile attempt to catch a fish. As he flew by me, he appeared to be shaking in flight. The camera caught the purpose of his shaking." |
